The Reason

This blog is my personal experience of an internship I am doing this summer In Rwanda.  It is thanks to two teachers, Sheila Hall and Sam Carter of the Emily Carr University, working with the urban planner Lama Mugabo of Building Bridges with Rwanda, that I am here doing the wonderful things I am.  The purpose of our project here is to connect with Rwandans and increase capacity in communities by way of digital storytelling and other forms of media.  Our project is managed by the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada (AUCC) and funded by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA).

Mitch-I quite enjoyed reading your Blog today. You are quite a writer! I must admit, your writing brought joy and laughter to my studio this mourning as I shared some of your insights with my wife, Sandra. New insights into toilets and hot showers!

Regards,

Lynn
